Many people ask us questions about diet and cancer. If you have any questions that are not answered by the resources listed here, please do not hesitate to get in touch with a member of staff at the Lynda Jackson Macmillan Centre.

It is essential to consult your GP or a member of your treatment team before making radical changes to your diet.

Local councils are playing an important role in supporting people through weight management programmes. Most programmes provide 12 weeks of free support to encourage healthy eating and physical activity, together with follow-up support to maintain weight loss.

Your GP will be able to give you details of the services in your area.
