Sometimes, unless you ask for help, people may assume you are managing on your own. We all need help now and then so don't be afraid to ask - it could make all the difference to you.

Support Groups
Support groups are usually self-help groups for people affected by cancer to share feelings and gain mutual support. They offer a range of services such as meetings, telephone helplines, drop-in centres, home visiting, information and practical help.
Each group is different so if the first one you try doesn't suit you, try another.
There are a number of support groups in our catchment area.
