Head & NeckHead & Neck Cancer Support Group

This informal support group meets at 4.00pm on the second Tuesday of each month at the Lynda Jackson Macmillan Centre.

It provides an opportunity to:

  • share your experience with other people affected by head and neck cancer

  • explore and discuss issues and concerns relating to coping, adjustment and relationships with health professionals

  • receive practical advice on issues such as swallowing, communication, nutrition, finances etc

  • ask questions about treatments and side-effects

The group is run by the Head & Neck team at Mount Vernon Hospital. It is open to anyone affected by head and neck cancer, including carers.
