Sometimes, unless you ask for help, people may assume you are managing on your own. We all need help now and then so don't be afraid to ask - it could make all the difference to you.
As well as the Lynda Jackson Macmillan Centre itself, there are many sources of help, some of which are listed below.
Provides information leaflets and support patients, relatives and friends. Telephone access to a nurse specialist.
Provides information leaflets for those living with a colostomy, those awaiting surgery and also for general digestive disorders
Provides support and non-medical information on anything to do with stomas. Support groups meet at locations all over UK.
Advice and support to patients and their families with cancer of the oesophagus.
