Type of Cancer:
Sometimes, unless you ask for help, people may assume you are managing on your own. We all need help now and then so don't be afraid to ask - it could make all the difference to you.
As well as the Lynda Jackson Macmillan Centre itself, there are many sources of help, some of which are listed below.

National charity providing expert care and practical and emotional support to people living with cancer. Services are free, confidential and available to anyone. Financial help may be available to some cancer patients; ask your Macmillan team for details.
A library of information on all aspects of cancer and its treatments.
Provide support and an opportunity to meet others. For people with cancer, their partners, family and friends. Activities vary and can include information, meetings, telephone helplines, home or hospital visiting. There are a number of specific support groups in our catchment area.
